Paul graduated with a BA Honours Degree in Legal Studies at Nottingham Trust Polytechnic in 1976. He qualified as a Solicitor in 1979.
Prior to qualifying Paul gained experience in the Legal Department of a Local Authority and private practice as part of the degree course.
Paul moved to Corby in 1977 to do two years articles/training with a local solicitor specialising in Matrimonial Law.
Paul began practicing in Corby in his own right in June 1983 specialising in Criminal Law and Conveyancing.
