About: Micaila is from Essex and was called to the Bar in 2004 after the simple route of school, university and Bar School. Since then she has practiced as a Sole Practitioner in East Anglia and the surrounding area. She specialises in all forms of criminal law and has a keen interest in motoring offences. Recently, she has resumed her interest in PI work.
Throughout her career, Micaila has seen first hand how the cut backs and the red tape in the Legal Aid System have pushed justice further out of the reach of those that need it the most. It is with this in mind, understanding the ethos of the firm, that she came to Seatons as a Consultant Barrister and is Duty Solicitor Accredited and Police Station Accredited.

Favourite group or band: Kings of Leon, Girls Aloud, George Michael and Dolly Parton (what a mix!)

Personal ambition(s): To be able to maintain a good work/play balance in life that allows me to be the best Mum I can but also to be respected and acknowledged in my chosen career.
If you won the Lottery, how would you spend it? With a smile on my face! Boring things like paying off my mortgage and getting my little brother on the housing ladder are musts but I am sure I would be frivolous and fun with some of it buying kitchen gadgets I will never use that sort of thing!
Who is the most influential person in your life? My mum and dad without a shadow of a doubt.
