Salary:- Negotiable (Depending on Experience)

Due to increased workloads, we have a vacancy available within our Wills and Estates Department.  The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a customer driven environment together with a friendly and positive attitude.  A good knowledge of Wills and Probate procedures would be beneficial but ultimately we are looking for a candidate who has a willingness to learn and who can be adaptable and flexible in their approach to this position.

The role will involve working as part of a well-established team for our Managing Director and Head of Estates.  Part of your role will also be to meet and greet clients/visitors in a professional manner, answering and making calls, taking and relaying messages to your Fee Earner including:


Co-ordinating and preparing incoming and outgoing post

Maintaining and updating fee earner diaries

Making appointments

Opening and closing/archiving files

Use of our Case Management System (full training will be given)

Skills Required:

The successful candidate will have a strong customer focus and carry out a wide range of general administration duties and must have excellent typing skills.  The ability to prioritise your workload and meet deadlines given is essential.  The ideal candidate will be numerate and articulate, with GCSE’s (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

The successful candidate will need to have a professional telephone manner with smart appearance, be a confident communicator and have excellent organisation and planning skills.  Confidence in using the internet, email, word and excel is necessary.
