Low & Sensible Fees For Probate Services

Lawyers can charge all sorts of different fees for the work they do. We at Seatons pride ourselves on providing low and sensible fees and giving good value for money. Compared with other solicitors, banks or probate companies you will find our fees to be very competitive. We try to charge fixed fees, an indication of our basic fees are below

Obtaining A Grant of Probate

If you require to only obtain grant of probate for a simple estate with few assets and you want to deal with the administration of the estate and everything else, then we usually charge a fixed fee starting from £500 plus VAT of £100 and court fees of £162.50 which typically comes to £762.50 all in.

Simple Estate Administration

If you would like us to deal with the administration of a simple estate including obtaining a grant of probate, collecting assets, paying off liabilities and then preparing estate account and distributing the estate to beneficiaries, our fees usually start from £1500 plus VAT and disbursements of £500, typically this will be from £2000 all in.

Complex Estates

If you have more complex estate and we would be delighted to give you a free no obligation estimate. We are confident that it will be a competitive price beating most of our competitors.

Distance is Never a Problem

Although we have offices in Corby and Kettering , distance will never be an issue. For example if you live in Northamptonshire, we can come to you.

We also act for clients further across England and Wales: wherever you live we can help you. We usually don’t need to meet up face to face and can often deal with most matters over the phone or by email. However, if necessary with more complex estates we will travel to meet up with you. We also offer Skype conference calls.
